How it works

Anyone can deposit Solana tokens into the auction wallet. The token that holds the highest USD value in the wallet at the time of the snapshot will receive a broadcast boost on Vector.

A countdown timer is displayed on the website, indicating the time remaining until the Mystery Hour. The Mystery Hour is the one-hour window during which the wallet snapshot is taken. However, the exact moment within the Mystery Hour when the snapshot occurs remains unknown.

A new auction starts every 24 hours. Once an auction ends, the bot will spend the next 24 hours boosting the winning token. Meanwhile, a new 24-hour auction begins to determine the next day's winner. This cycle continues daily, ensuring a constant opportunity for tokens to compete for exposure.

The bot will only promote one token at a time, specifically, the token that holds the highest value in the wallet at the moment of the snapshot. All tokens sent to the wallet are used for distribution according to the established plan. This means that if a token finishes in second place, it does not qualify for a refund to its senders. The system operates as a combination of an auction and donation model, where participants compete for exposure while contributing to the overall ecosystem.

The target is to broadcast a winning token as much as possible. The bot is still in its beta phase, making it difficult to guarantee its exact behavior.

These targets can be increased; however, to prevent spam from the bot, this target has been set. With this target, a broadcast will occur every few minutes.

After the snapshot, all tokens in the wallet are transferred to a "waiting" wallet, which has a publicly visible address. This process is done to clear the auction wallet and prepare it for the next auction round.

The tokens in the waiting wallet remain there until the bot reaches its minimum target. Once this target is met, the tokens are converted into SOL and distributed as follows:

- $150 USD daily to cover the costs of running the bots and maintaining the website.

- The remaining funds are used to burn Vectorbot tokens.

If the target is not met within 24 hours, the funds from the waiting wallet will be refunded to the original senders.

Future Plans

The goal is to eventually allocate a portion of the bot’s earnings for airdrops to Vector users, ensuring that not only Vectorbot holders but also the broader Vector community benefits from this marketing tool.

As Vector continues to grow, the daily operational costs of the bot will increase, requiring more broadcasts to maintain a high ranking. Any changes to this structure will be publicly shared through official social media channels.

During the Mystery Hour, the exact moment when the snapshot is taken remains unknown. This adds an element of unpredictability and fairness to the auction. Once the snapshot is taken, it will be publicly shared.
