FAQ

Vector.fun is an innovative social trading mobile app designed specifically for the trading of memecoins and other cryptocurrencies on blockchains like Solana, Ethereum, and Base. It stands out in the crowded crypto trading market by combining trading functionality with social elements, allowing users to share their trading activities in real-time with friends and a broader community.

Vector is currently an invite-only platform. You need an invite code to create an account. We have a dedicated page where we share invite codes: Invite Codes. Additionally, you can also find invite codes on X or other platforms.

Vectorbot is a bot designed to perform small transactions within Vector and broadcast them. The platform features a ranking list that highlights the most frequently broadcasted tokens over various time frames. By using Vectorbot, a token can rise in these rankings on Vector, gaining more visibility and attracting attention.

Yes, you can use Vectorbot for your project by participating in the auction. The great thing about our current auction system is that multiple people can contribute to supporting a token and helping it win the auction. This system can also be used by communities to collectively contribute to the marketing of their project. For more details on how the auction works, check out our 'How it works' page.

We chose this system because it aligns well with the evolution of SocialFi. Since the auction wallet is publicly visible, everyone can see what is happening and who the current frontrunner is. Additionally, this system allows people to participate in the auction collectively, adding a fun and engaging social aspect.

In a traditional auction system, the winner would remain unknown until the end, and communities wouldn’t have the opportunity to participate in a decentralized way. With this current model, communities can work together to boost their token and gain visibility.

The Vectorbot token is the native token of the bot’s ecosystem. It is designed to return value to both Vectorbot holders and Vector users. Currently, the revenue generated by the bot is used to burn Vectorbot tokens, reducing supply and increasing the token’s value for all holders.

In a later phase, we plan to introduce random airdrops for Vector users, allowing them to benefit from Vectorbot as well. We will continue to expand the utility of the token by adding more incentives for holders.

We acknowledge that excessive broadcasts may feel like spam. That’s why we carefully manage how many appear in the timeline to prevent it from being overwhelmed. Our goal is to use the bot as an effective marketing tool, not a spam bot. We continuously strive to find the right balance and ensure that Vector users are not negatively impacted by the bot.

If you experience any inconvenience from the bot, you can adjust the broadcast filters in your Vector app. Simply set the threshold $1 higher than the transactions made by the bot, and you will no longer see the broadcasts.
